Torque wrench you really use right?

When installing carbon fiber parts and lightweight parts, the degree of tightening and uniformity of screws are particularly important, and the indicator to measure these two elements is the torque during installation. Within the correct torque range, it can not only clamp the parts, but also prevent tooth sliding or damage. Therefore, the torque wrench has become a necessary tool for car shops and professional riders. What else do we need to pay attention to in use? Strictly speaking, the torque wrench is a measuring instrument. In particular, the mechanical preset torque wrench commonly used in the industry can only be used to determine the torque when tightening the screw, and must not be used as a disassembly tool to loosen the tightened screw. The preset torque wrench is usually used in one direction. When the screw is tightened clockwise and the preset torque is reached, the connecting rod is pushed to produce an instantaneous disjoint effect and a prompt sound. Although it can be switched to counterclockwise operation by the paddle of the ratchet, it can only be used to unscrew the loose screw. The principle is that the static friction force in the screw fastening state is far greater than the dynamic friction force in the loose state, especially after the screw is installed for a period of time, the torque required to loosen the screw is much greater than the torque when tightening (up to 1.5 times). Reverse use is easy to cause the internal lever of the wrench to jam, resulting in no prompt during forward use, causing irreversible damage.
